First things first. Sam is OUT OF THE HOSPITAL. Has been for 3 marvelous weeks now. I haven't posted because I think he should. And HE hasn't posted because he's so thrilled to be working and eating and traveling (a little) and LIVING again, that blogging hasn't been high on the list. Anyway. We are sorry not to have given you that update sooner. Ok. But what I wanted to really say/ask tonight is: ^Did you send us one of these?

God I love your way with words. What a beautiful way to celebrate the beauty in your lives. Powerful. Sending healing exuberance from a small surf town in Mexico as I gaze up into pure darkness and the massive cosmos

I never cry at the appropriate time and I read this and cried and then I read it again and cried all over again. Oh dear, there I go again now. There's not a word for the depth of how - glad, happy, relieved, overjoyed - I am to hear the future tense again in your talking and writing. This has been such a hard road and you have both done so well. And I'm crying again. I'm just so thankful you're out and can resume life again in the land of the living together. There's not a word with enough meaning to express the extent of it. Maybe it's just the tears. I love you both

Sam and Jen - thank you for the update - Debi had informed me that Sam WAS OUT and that you were going to have a birthday dinner together at Jacobi's ------ that was such good news - keeping you on my prayer list as I hope God continues to bless you
